Mai Anh Nguyen (Maia)

Born in Vietnam but my culinary journey began when I moved to Canada. My strong childhood food memories with experience in professional kitchens have shaped my cooking today. After culinary school, I’ve travelled across Canada, France, Vietnam and Thailand to cook for different communities and restaurants, included a 1-Michelin starred La Cachette runs by Chef Masashi Ijichi.

Outside the kitchen, I love hiking, board games with friends and trying new foods! I’m excited to share my passion with you and be inspired by your feedback.

To be creative and making connections with people who also appreciates good food are what make me the happiest. How about you?
